Paul Clark helps Sandbach Round Table support Sandbach Food Bank
Our managing director Paul Clark and his wife Becky Spall are helping Sandbach Round Table and Sandbach Ladies Circle with their community food collection in support of Sandbach Food Bank.
Both groups regularly help local causes and are known for organising the annual Sandbach Santa Sleigh. The food collection is due to take place on Saturday 16 May from 10am and they will be collecting from local locations including Sandbach Heath, Elworth, Ettiley Heath and Wheelock. The exact route is due to be announced next week but it is likely that it will follow the same route as the Sandbach Santa Sleigh. Please follow the Sandbach Round Table Facebook page to stay up to date with the collection routes.
Paul Clark said ‘Supporting our local community has always been important to me and I feel it is especially important at this time. I joined Sandbach Round Table last year and I am pleased to be able to continue to support the community I love. The members of Round Table and Ladies Circle have always supported local charity initiatives and I am proud to support them with this latest initiative.’
Sandbach Food Bank is run by Sandbach Methodist Church at Wesley Avenue and provides emergency food and support to those in need. People that use the food bank are referred to them by specialist agencies that have the relevant knowledge and skills to determine if there is need and to provide other support.
As well as donating to the food collection organised by Round Table and Ladies Circle, it is also possible to donate to the Food Bank by leaving non-perishable food and toiletries at The Wesley Centre, Nationwide Building Society, Co-op on Middlewich Road and Co-op on The Hill.
The Food Bank can be contacted directly by email at sandbachfoodbank@gmail.com.
