A message from our managing director about Coronavirus (COVID-19)
I am writing this message to explain how we are supporting our clients and staff during this worrying and uncertain time.
Looking after our clients
The safety and wellbeing of our clients is paramount, especially during this challenging time. We understand that you may have additional concerns and worries which is why during this period of crisis we have made the decision to extend our telephone line opening hours to 6am to 11pm every day including weekends.
Meetings
In accordance with current government and Law Society advice we have taken the decision to suspend face to face meetings for the time being. We are still available for meetings by telephone and video conferencing such as Zoom.
Signing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
We are still available to execute Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney but we will be taking extra precautions and complying with government and Law Society guidance on appropriate safeguarding for our clients and staff. This means the process will be a little different to usual. Given the unprecedented situation we face, we will discuss the signing process with you before making an appointment as ensuring the safety of our staff and clients is essential.
Emergency Wills
We understand that during this period of national crisis there are some who will require their affairs to be in order as a matter of urgency. In these circumstances we commit to preparing and issuing Wills within 24 hours. Please contact Paul Clark on 07388 830 864 or Pam Murphy on 07708 046 410 to discuss further.
Looking after our staff
We are taking extra precautions to ensure that we play our part in supporting our staff and community during this difficult time. We are following official guidance on how we can support our staff and limit any risk. We are fortunate that our staff work from home as part of their daily routine and although it is not quite business as usual, we still endeavour to continue to provide an exceptional level of service to our clients during this challenging time.
We appreciate that this is a challenging time for us all but by taking precautions and complying with official guidance, we hope that life will return to normality in the near future.
